		<description>One thing you should consider is that if you&#039;re having it done to correct nearsightedness, remember that when you get into your forties, you will need reading glasses. This is why I will never get this procedure done. I already am in my 40s and my close up vision is still very good. This is a characteristic of being nearsighted. Normally, people develop a type of farsightedness when they get older. I have not. The only time I have a problem is when I&#039;m wearing my contact lenses. Then I can&#039;t see close up very well and need reading glasses. Otherwise, it&#039;s quite odd to see a middle-aged person taking off the glasses to read or look at something close up like I do. Most people my age put on glasses for those reasons.</description>
