Give the difference between Lasik and laser eye surgery?

There are several different types of laser eye surgery. There are different types of lasers that can be used in eye surgery depending on what the surgeon is wanting to achieve. For example, the surgeon may use a YAG laser for the treatment of secondary cataracts. Or the surgeon can use an argon laser for iridotomies or possibly to treat leaking blood vessels in the retina. Or the surgeon may use an excimer laser to correct vision disorders as nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism. This is the laser that are probably referring to.
