Everything you need to know about LASIK?

I am a 16 years old. My plan is to get lasik in the future. Tell me … 1 – how much it costs. with Insurance O 2 – level of pain or discomfort 3 – The security risks and complications (people have said that LASIK is bad because the cover never completely healthy, right?) 4 – if you had lasik, do you recommend?

Lasik Every candidate must have at least 18 years of age, and some surgeons are required to have 21 years of age. Also must have a stable vision with a stable prescription for one year before surgery. He was about before Lasik surgery last year 20/250. The procedure was painless, probably due to the Valium they gave me. The trip home (as a passenger, of course) was quite uncomfortable, especially because of the sensitivity to light. Dr. gave me dark glasses, but the light was too bright. I was in a bit of pain once I got home (maybe three hours after the procedure), but I had some leftover Vicodin, and took two doses of that. The Vicodin took the edge. I slept well that night. I woke up the next morning, and I could see OK! Hallelujah! Jazzed Me up to that. I took my check until one day (a trip of two hours and back) without problems. For this check, I was looking at 20/25, less than 24 hours after surgery. I went to work in the afternoon (doing ultrasound which really requires the use of their eyes.) To my check a week, I was seeing between 20/20 and 20/15. Other than the touch of pain he had after the procedure, before going to bed at night, he had no other problems. I would do it again soon! No more glasses, no contact more, no more cleaning solutions and saline! My advice would be to talk to everyone …. talk to your family, friends and coworkers. Then ask family, friends and coworkers to talk with family, friends and colleagues …. you get the idea. I found my surgeon by word of mouth. I asked to everyone I know if they Lasiks (or knew someone who had Lasiks), and went to doctor. Almost everyone I spoke in my area was the surgeon, completed going to, and everyone was perfectly satisfied. I went into the procedure very safe! Good luck to you! Just one more thing …. I went to a doctor who uses computerized laser equipment. No knives were involved. But it cost me a fortune. I paid $ 5500 for both eyes, but did not feel comfortable going to a doctor who advertised in the newspaper the $ 500 per eye. Sometimes you get what you pay for! Good luck to you!
