LASIK eye surgery?
I have terrible vision and I have to wear contact lenses or even I can not work (I can not see without them unless the 5 inches in front of my face.) I have been considering lasik because I hate dealing with contacts and glasses, but I have fear that I will lose my vision completely. What safe is it? Has anyone heard of someone who is completely blind after LASIK? Should I wait a few years, do you think it will get better and more cheaper and safer?
Hello, I just had the new bladeless LASIK done last week. It was relatively painless and now I have 20/20 vision. I used not be able to see even the big "E" of the letter of the vision before the procedure. I was so afraid that I too lost my vision but the odds are minimal. I've never heard of anyone losing complete vision LASIK. I'm not sure how old he is, but you must be at least 18 before considering LASIK surgery. This is because your eyes are still changing and must be stable before the preform surgery. However, the center can tell you whether LASIK the vision is stable and if you are a good candidate for surgery. I would recommend Lasik Plus. That's what I used.
