Prk Lasik Complications
How many eye surgery are there?
For example, I recently looked up and PRK eye Lasik surgery, but I heard theres another. The other is when a doctor sticks a needle in the eye, pull it, and cure. Theres an episode of House MD''''en it, where a guy had complications with their brain, eyes, and tried a lot. Eventually the child only had a needle stuck in his eye, was healed, and had a vision 20/20, this is just a TV show, but I heard rumors that this was possible. Can anyone confirm?
The only episode of "House" I can remember in which a needle in one eye, was where a child had night terrors and he performed a biopsy of the retina (a real one, but the procedure is very rare) – Put a needle in the eye to obtain a sample of tissue from the retina. This confirmed a rare disease that is cured by giving interferon. But this has nothing to do with vision! Other types of eye surgery to correct vision are: corneal onlays and inlays – a new treatment where a biocompatible material is inserted just below the surface the eye. implantable lenses – an implant is inserted between the cornea and iris. Refractive lens exchange – where the lens of the eye is actually replaced by an artificial one. CK (keratoplasty conductive) – Radio waves are used to heat and reshape the cornea.
Patient Tom had a complication (corneal infection) following PRK in his right eye 10 years ago which was corrected by 2 other laser treatments
