Post Lasik Dry Eyes

post lasik dry eyes
How long is the dry eyes seen after LASIK surgery?

I went to my appointment OPP since a week after surgery and I got my eyes tested. My vision was still blurry and I took all my drops. I was told that the reason my vision is still blurred because I have extremely dry eyes. Can that be true?

If you have dry eye before Lasik, then it is very likely that you will continue to dry eye after and actually may be more evident. If you have tears limit Lasik quality before it is likely that problems will remain dry for several months. We hope you can return to normal, but some never do completely return to its previous quality. If you had tears well suited Lasik before then you should see gradual improvement over several weeks or a month or two. Most, however, return to a manageable level of quality tear over time. It is necessary to lubricate lubricating oil now.
