Lasik Restasis

Are they normal dry eyes after 10 months of Lasik surgery?

I was 10 months of Lasik. I suffered from dry eyes when having the surgery I had to put my eyes on Systane 10 times a day. But suddenly I started to have an increased dry eyes! I saw the doctor and he Systane took away and gave me drops again "Optiva," "Restasis, and at night Update. Couple of days have passed, but I'm still suffering. Do you recommend tear duct plugs? It's my last option. I went to the doctor today! He gave me drops again! "Alrex" thought it was in season allergies so these drops will help reduce my allergies therefore help to dry! if it fails I will have caps in a month …

tear duct plugs have worked good for me, they are a bit expensive, but help!

PRK one month (and some change) later…

generally insurance will not cover any Lasik surgery, however check, you never know. Ive seen some that do. you can expect to pay around 1500 an eye give or take 500. i know my old clinic ran specials around graduation time and it would drop to 999 an eye (1000). also, like the other person said, if you have astigmatism it can increase the cost. do a lasik consult, usually about 100 bucks and they do all the measurements and let you know if your a candidate and then you can schedule from there. do not be surprised though if they mention waiting cause your cornea isnt stable. it has to be stable with no changes to prescription for them to cut on it.
