		<description>You should avoid activities that cause water to get into your eyes, such as swimming, for at least a month after LASIK. For the first week use cooled down water from a kettle to clean around the eye area - with a piece of gauze, and avoid getting water into the eyes in the shower for about 2 months after. After 2 months it is ok to get water into your eyes but stay away from soap, shampoo etc, as there is a chance that it will get into your eyes causing irritation, and also you will feel the need to rub your eyes, which may dislodge the corneal flap.</description>
