Is it still worth re-apply to the Philippine Military Academy (PMA)?

From this moment, the only reason I gave why has not happen is because of my eyesite that can be corrected with LASIK. I passed the physical and mental evaluation (except for eyesite), although I do not know my position. I believe in honor, duty and do something for the good of all and I want to be a person of strength capable of doing. What I am asking is with all the horror stories, news and a bad reputation that the PMA is, I will be "All I can be" if I had to re-apply, be accepted and graduate? I know it may sound corny but I am drawn to the idea of being a military that is strong and has the ability things for the greater good. Incidentally, I was O-08-0 ** during the time V-Luna and was only two "Semikalbo" types in the group.

a time of V-Luna bystander here (long ago, do not push through with it because it had better plans career in mind) … just as you are under 23 by the time that potentially reach Fort del Pilar, is all you do for yourself if you re-apply, be accepted and graduate students. my father (who graduated from the PMA with the Mayor and the lightsaber Aguinaldo in his class) told me that if the cadets might serve the country, the Academy taught to live through the difficulties literal and thrive under enormous pressure to that when they graduate … not have a life biatch about the imperatives of reason. horror stories, news and bad reputation – which is actually part of the experience – be based characther (and also the upper classmen only beat arrogant and stupid the lower classmen on a case by case for the masses) … those who can not change it, either back because I could not concentrate on their academic studies or simply quit. like everything else, if you are prepared to be somebody … only has the passion for it and you go places.
