Lasik For Presbyopia

lasik for presbyopia
Post-Pharco cataract and LASIK surgery?

I had cataract surgery two months ago pharco CPS, with an AcrySof toric intraocular lens. My vision Current is 1.25 with minimum astigmatism -0.50. My questions are: Can LASIK or Piggy Back-IOL be recommended to correct my small amount of refractive errors? Does LASIK correct my vision only away or I can also see close objects clearly, too? Just to clarify because I know that surgery cataract, my ability to focus is gone, it would be advisable to LASIK for only 1.25 away error if this is the case? In addition, newer technology LASIK can now correct presbyopia. From Presbyopia is the degeneration of the eye's focusing ability for near objects, such as LASIK would help focus capability of intraocular lens implanted in my eyes anyway? Or will I be able to correct refractive errors only a distant only, and still need glasses for other distances? Thanks!

"Could Piggy Back-LASIK or IOL be recommended to correct my small amount of refractive errors?" Probably lasik. but no one here can really answer that question, b / c none of us have seen his eye. "LASIK only correct my distance vision or whether enable me to see close objects clearly, too? "REMOTE ONLY" Just to clarify because I know that cataract surgery, my ability Focus is gone, it would be advisable for only 1.25 LASIK distant error if this is the case? "Thats a matter of opinion. questionable." Furthermore, LASIK newer technology now allows correct presbyopia. "Not really." From Degeneration Presbyopia is the eye's ability to focus on objects Nearby, LASIK may not be helping the focusing power intraocular lens implanted in my eyes anyway? "Probably not." Or will I be able to correct only a distant refractive error only, and others still need glasses for distance? YES. have.

I had laser eye surgery nearly 3 years ago and would recommend it to anybody. No pain during operation, discomfort for 2-3 days afterwards but no problems since. I have perfect sight now and wish I had done it years ago worth every penny, wouldn’t hesitate to have it redone if need be. I went to Optimax in Peterborough and recommend them.

Assuming the surgery corrected his vision to regular vision requirements, then yes of course.
