Lasik Eye Surgery Recovery Period
I can have Lasik surgery after cataract removal?
I have high myopia -7.5 -9.5 n left.also right eye I have cataracts eye.now on my left I get my cataracts removed n vision.so also going to correct my vision correcting lens implantation after removal of cataract.what is the recovery period? Also, if I go for LASIK surgery for my right eye what is the time line when I can see clearly after LASIK?
Should not be necessary, the ophthalmologist will, a goal to bring you close to normal vision. Of course you do not have accommodation of the natural lens so it can only be focused for near or distance vision in each eye. The recovery period is very short. You must be able to see very well right after the operation and return to normal within a couple of days. You will have some restrictions on the activities while the eye continues to heal for several weeks.

It is not that easy. As and adolescent/ teenager, the eyes are constantly changing, many times until you are about 18-20, and if you are to have the surgery done, your eyes will change and 6 months after the surgery (when you are still using the drops) you will have to have it reversed. That is no fun, and very expensive, as well as a risk to your visual health
