Lasik Eye Surgery Recovery

lasik eye surgery recovery
Has anyone had LASIK eye surgery?

How was it? What was the recovery time?

He had last summer in Ottawa. the worst part was waiting outside the operating room for 45 min. waiting for my turn. was not so expensive, only U.S. $ 1,200.00. the only surgery that takes about five minutes for both eyes, but my wife had to take me home. at the time we got home the pain was completely gone (probably about 1 1 / 2 hours). the pain is still not as serious, just feels rough and dry. I have a made in Canada as it was cheaper. Lasik MD to c / Elgin 42. in Ottawa. I definitely recommend it.

I am an ophthalmic technician and have worked in the industry for nearly a decade. There is no way to "heal" a refractive error (the natural power of your eye). Essentially the eye is like a big magnifying lens and has the job of focusing light rays onto your retina (the part of your eye that sees). Some eyes are longer than others which gives them too much magnification. These people are usually called near sighted (myopic) and some others have eyes that are too short which is often refered to as near sighted (hyperopic). If your eye is too long or too short the light rays are not properly focused onto the fovea (which is the center of your retina). There is no exercise you can do that will make your eye longer or shorter. There are plenty of doctors out there that like to make money and if there were a reputable "exercise" or program that would improve your vision ophthalmolgist around the nation would jump on the band wagon. This obviously has not happened which should make you suspicious of anyone who makes such claims. Western medicine and popular convention are not the solutions to all problems but your logic and reason should be used when you are considering your own health and well being.
