It is also possible that antibiotics have been prescribed eye drops to prevent infection, so be sure to use them as recommended.

I only know of the eye cancer part, I have not heard of the others. I have had Lasik almost 7 years, my eyes were really bad, I have worn glasses since the 2nd grade, I was 36 when I had the procedure done, they did something called Mono Vision where they over correct one eye and under correct the other so hopefully when I get older I will not need glasses, I am 43 now and I have not had any problems yet. Make sure you have a good eye doctor and you will have no problems, and in the 7 years they have really come up with other Lasik procedures.

I have never heard of that but you have to be at least 18 and have stable vision for at least 2 years. They do have lasers now that will actually follow your eye if you look away for whatever reason
