Lasik Corneal Flap Healing

Anyone who has had laser eye surgery or who know someone who has —–?
I had wavefront lasik laser eye surgery on Friday and opticians say that my eyes are healing well, no infection and so on! I just want some advice as to whether or not the corneal flap never really heal properly? I was also told that after a week I can start using eye makeup and not wear goggles to sleep, it is advisable? What experiences or advice do you have on this? What did you find useful and so forth? Thanks in advance xo
The corneal flap only heals around edges. Below the surface, the cut is forever. Your doctor should have said this. But this is perfectly fine, the only long-term effect it will have is that from time to time, if you happen to sleep with the pillow by pressing on the eye in a certain way, you may wake up with blurred vision for a minute or two. (No But his corneas and are not suitable for organ donation.) The advice about not need glasses after a week is correct. I can not advise on eye makeup, did not have personal experience with that. Keep using the drops on the recommended schedule. You will note that point sources of light in the night as traffic lights, halos will have a time, which gradually diminish in the coming months.
Lasik, the flap never heals!

I got Lasik back in July and my eyes still get dry from time to time. I think it might be the weather that’s making mine dry. I just make sure I keep my artificial tears with me at all times. My doc said it would be a few months before they got better.
