Will I be disqualified for hire for the LAPD if I have 20/100 in the right eye?

I have a slight amblyopia (eye cross, but not shown), and astigmatism that causes my right eye to 20/100. My left eye is 20/20. Will this affect my chances of being hired for the police Los Angeles? Should I get LASIK or traetments done before my medical assessment?

If your condition can be corrected to 20/20 in both eyes should not have no problem joining the police force. This is after having made the correction. If not corrected, then no, you can not be a police officer for police Los Angeles and most police departments already know.
