How I can become a fighter pilot, and what does it matter that I am a girl?

I have 15 years, and really want to become a pilot Hunt for the U.S. Air Force. I know it's a long and hard, and you have to get a degree, then go through the air school pilot force, which is probably not even become a fighter pilot, but still really want to do it. Also, I'm 5'8'', 125 pounds on, nice fit, as I said, a girl. Is this all you can? The only problem is that I have 20/40 vision, but I read that you can get lasik. Is that right? I have also really good grades and am in all advanced classes. Anyway, I know it's a very far, but I have the opportunity to become a fighter pilot? And if so, what is the best way to prepare for / go about this from the beginning? Thanks!

All pilots in States U.S. Air Force and Navy are commissioned officers and all commissioned officers in these two sectors must be university graduates. So the first requirement for a fighter pilot is to be a college graduate. The next requirement is that you meet the physical, psychological and intellectual for admission to training officers. This process begins with the completion of an application to long and very detailed best be described as telling them all about his life so far. Do not lie or omitting nothing in this application that the application be given to the FBI who will use it as a starting point for a complete investigation of his background. This research includes going through court records sealed, so if you had any run ins with the law as a juvenile, include this information even though the court told the record was closed and not available for viewing. transgressions of the past, both as a juvenile and as an adult can not prevent you from being accepted for training official, but not disclosing and disposing of the FBI to find them to be reason for rejection of his application. Even if the FBI has views of the record on this first verification, there will be a broader background check before they graduate from flight school and will most likely find the evidence that the time and you will be removed flight school. admission to the official formation also requires the approval of a test that tests your knowledge (this part is very similar to the Aptitude Test Academic or SAT, which led him to enter college), and take a psychological test built into it. The psychological questions are intertwined with questions theoretical. Furthermore, the test is in sections and once a section is complete you can not go back and change answers in the previous sections, for what, the moment they realize where they are going with the psychological part of the review is impossible to go back and change answers to present the psychological profile appropriate. In general, they are looking for motivated, aggressive, have initiative and are team players, what is the psychological part of the test looks. Finally, must also pass a rigorous physical examination. pilot candidates usually must also have additional knowledge and psychological tests and meet more stringent physical especially in the area of vision, a vision of 20/20. Assuming that you meet all the requirements, the next step is officer training. All officer candidates, except those who received his commission through the ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) in the university or a graduate of the Air Force Academy or U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis. While the formal school training are not official and are treated the same well as those who enlisted in the ranks to undergo basic training. Physical training is an important part of the program are university professors who focus primarily on the history and traditions of the Air Force or Navy. The physical and mental stress plays an important role in training as one of the objectives of program is to eliminate those who can not handle the stress and not fully committed to becoming an officer ..

That is a big problem. I used to work for a Lasik surgeon and one of the tests I did was pachymetry (checking the corneal thickness) The Doctor HAS to do all the necessary tests before going in and making the flap in the cornea. That’s certainly a lawsuit waiting to happen. Get a copy of all her records from that Doctor! Good luck!
