I have no regrets whatsoever. For about 9 months I had to use expensive eyedrops, and I had star vision at night, but now I see perfect. My eyes seldom bother me, but I never wore contacts before, always glasses. I recommended the procedure to a friend and she had all kinds of complications because she wore contacts and her eyes were in rough shape because of them. If you wear contacts and are getting lasik, take them out and put them in the garbage at least 6 months before the surgery. Get rid of the contacts and let your eyes be nice and strong for the surgery. It was a weekend thing for me to go to Canada and have it done, when I went back to work on Monday I was literally crying because I could see things I never had before. Go for it.
