		<description>LASIK is an elective procedure and most insurances won&#039;t cover it anyway.  Some insurance companies have negotiated discounts with surgeons though.  In any case, most reputable surgeons offer a package that includes post operative care for 1 or 2 years after the surgery.  I co-manage LASIK and would suggest you get only the latest technology, which is custom wave front with the all laser procedure (Intra-LASIK).  It runs about $2000 per eye in the Midwest.</description>
