Does anybody have percentages on the risk of Lasik as blindness and other complications. If not, are the risks?

In fact, you probably want LASEK rather than LASIK, LASEK and is newer and creates a flap in the cornea smaller (which is less harmful). And there a new type is being developed called "wavefront LASEK," which theoretically can give you a better vision than glasses could anytime. As soon as risks, LASEK rarely has complications, generally greater glare or blurred vision, but because the procedure is performed on the cornea rather than retina, the risk of going blind is practically zero.
