If your lazy eye is able to be corrected with contacts or glasses then LASIK will most likely be able to correct you to what your glasses are able to correct you to. If your best corrected vision is say 20/40 in glasses then that is probably the best LASik will get you. THe same if your eyes can see 20/20 in glasses. Some people with a lazy eye can not be corrected at all ( my daughter has one lazy eye and cant see any better with glasses.) As far as correcting the lazy eye, physically, even if you had lasik and didn't need glasses to see your eye would still be turned, ( if your eye does turn in/out) so I have seen many patients who are not completely happy after lasik because they no longer have the glasses to make their eye look normal. ( not turned in or out) Depending on your age only muscle surgery can correct that.
