It depends on your age..If you're young then go for it. But, if you're closer to 40 then you can use your natural nearsightedness to see up close without reading glasses. Your eyes can sometimes be more dry after lasik. At worse you may need an enhancement but that depends on how nearsighted you are to begin with. Get a few more opinions and choose an experienced surgeon.
